She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a Master’s in Bioinformatics from Aarhus University (Denmark), with experience spanning machine learning, statistical analysis, phylogenetics, population genetics, and software engineering.

Her work sits at the intersection of scientific research and advanced computing, with a focus on helping researchers translate complex scientific questions into effective computational workflows.

At Empire AI, Izabel leads efforts to help researchers across disciplines make effective use of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. By providing hands-on computational support and helping make sophisticated computing capabilities more accessible, she works to ensure that Empire AI’s advanced infrastructure can be effectively applied to accelerate scientific discovery.
